MEYERSDAL CLEAN-UP AND UPLIFTMENT PROJECT
As per the AGM, residents agreed and approved for Chris Van Zyl to go ahead with the “MEYERSDAL CLEAN UP AND UPLIFTMENT PROJECT”.
Two casuals were hired and started on Blue Crane Street, right up to Kentucky and down Nelson Mandela Drive towards the highway.
The difference is astonishing and that it can take one person to create such a difference as per the pictures below.

MOI

MOI – The amended proposal was presented of the MOI at the Annual General Meeting for consideration and approval. Residents were not in agreement with some points on the proposed MOI and the MOI was not approved. A new revision of the draft has been sent to all the Residents for consideration and comment.
There was a challenge in that most of the Residents were working from an older version, and not what was submitted for consideration. It was then resolved that the matter will be resubmitted for consideration at a Special General Meeting.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY 28 SEPTEMBER 2023 AT 18H00, VIRTUALLY ON
All guests may gain entry/exit only by getting a code from the registered resident through SMS or when the Security phone the resident for permission to accept such a visitor. To avoid congestion at the EXIT gate we would appreciate if Residents could send their Exit code via SMS to the Guard House number 076 878 4836 to ensure a smooth traffic flow should their domestic not be able to receive the Exit Code.

SPEED LIMIT

SPEED LIMIT IN THE ESTATE
A resident has claimed that a vehicle overtook their vehicle on the blind corner outside no. 47 Francolin Street whilst the resident was driving at the 30km as per the speed limit. There are notably 30km speed limit signs all along the Francolin Street and they are there for a reason, to avoid accidents and keep our children and residents safe in the Estate.
This is a major concern as Contractors and Residents alike are not adhering to the our speed limits.
Speed reduces the amount of available time needed to avoid a crash/to stop the vehicle.
Speed reduces the ability of the driver to steer safely around curves or objects on the road.
PAVEMENTS/SIDEWALKS AND PAVED AREAS
Summer is upon us and so are the weeds in the paved and grass areas on and along the pavements. MCHA would like residents to please maintain their pavements to keep our Estate beautiful. TIPS: https://www.lifeisagarden.co.za/a-war-on-weeds/

MAINTENANCE:
Alterations: Approval from the Board of Directors through the Estate Manager, Brenda Mitchell.
Paint Colours: Approval from the Board of Directors BEFORE painting of home. Earthy colours only – WHITE is not an earthy colour.
